Nicole Ari Parker (born Nicole Ari Parker) is an American actress who works in the fields of film, television and the theatre. Contractor who was born in Mumbai and lived in Nigeria during seven years experienced a variety of cultural experiences and travels at very young. She went to boarding school from the age of 7 to 9 in London. Then her family moved back in Toronto (Canada) in Canada, where she spent her entire childhood. When she graduated from high school she was awarded a full award to at the University of Toronto, where she pursued a masters in the field of theatre, and a double major in sociology and psychology. Contractor was a student who'd completed her university degree and auditioned in an open audition for Pericles which was held at the highly acclaimed Stratford Shakespeare Festival, [Ontario Canada] and won the part. After 92 performances, she received glowing reviews. This play was named the best production in Canada by critics. She was given the chance to enroll in the Stratford Conservatory. The school is a private institution that accepts just eight men as well as four female students to take a course in the art of classical theatre. Contractor eagerly accepted. The actress's spot in the next production was secured, and she was offered the part of Hermia.
